This is a great location to rent one or more units for family reunions, retreats and gathering of friends. There is a large shared pool, hammocks for relaxing, picnic tables for outdoor cookouts under the shade of a cabana in the center of the units. Each unit has an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day of playing in the sand. It's an easy walk or fun golf cart ride to the beach. This new unit is beautifully decorated and has 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths (BR1 - Queen, BR2 - Full size futon bed, BR3 - Queen) with a Queen sleeper sofa downstairs. There are Smart flat screen TVs in each bedroom and a 55-inch Smart flat screen TV downstairs. The floors are stained concrete downstairs and pine upstairs for easy clean-up. The walls are 10" thick concrete to keep things quiet and cozy.* There is parking for 2 cars per unit.* Pets are allowed. Y044

    The property was newly remodeled and still had that "new" smell when initially walking in. Everything looked clean on the surface, but we found sunglasses tucked in between the cushions of the pullout couch, the sheets on the pullout couch bed were covered in sand and clearly hasn't been washed from the last user, the sheets on the bed in room 2 had what we're hoping was dog hair, a pillow in room 2 didn't have a case on it and someone's name was written on the tag leading us to believe a previous guest left it behind and housekeeping used it anyways, and an unwashed bath towel was left sitting on the lid of the washing machine. Room 3 with the futon isn't really a "room" since there's no window or closet. It was super dark and got really cold compared to other room. There were no batteries in the TV remote in bedroom 1. The kitchen didn't have any potholders and the middle drawer was overloaded with dishes to the point where it was off the sliders and difficult to open. The doorknob on the pantry closet was poorly installed and didn't always latch. The mop in the pantry was broken, so we bought our own since our visit was for a full week and we have children. The pool is decent size, depth, and shape, but there is no shade within the gated area, the water was green, and there are decorative tiles cracked around the edges. Parking was great for the first several weekdays. I suspect that the were more than 2 vehicles per unit on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday though because we ended up having to park in the grass.

    Despite it all, we'd probably stay again.

      Hello Erica, Thank you for submitting your review of #402 TC, it sounds like you had some positives and negatives regarding your stay, we have brought your review to my Housekeeping managers attention to make sure housekeeper are checking in those areas for leftover washcloths etc. we have not met our standards in your review and for that we are sincerely sorry, we will be correcting all the issues you experienced and the unit and when you come back we will make sure we live up to our cleaning standards as we try to do for all of our guests, come back and see us anytime.
