How do I make a reservation?
|
Please call Life In Paradise - (800)204-2781 with your 3 nights or more dates and choice of properties. We will need your name, address and telephone numbers.

One night rent will be required to hold your property, non-refundable, payable when you make your reservation. $510 Security Deposit Due at Check In During Spring Break - Credit Card Will Be Charged.
If less than 30 days before check-in, deposit is non-refundable for small units (sleep 7 or less), large units is 60 days. (sleeps 8 or more)

SPRING BREAK - Age minimum is 25. Parents do not rent for underage children, they will be asked to leave and there will not be a refund.
If we receive complaints about groups in one of our rentals, that entire group will be asked to leave, with no refund.
If the police are needed at one of our properties, charges will be pressed, and the entire group will be asked to leave with no refund. |
Maximum Occupancy per Property
|
Each house is listed with the maximum amount of persons allowed. You may have less in each unit. Our Fire Marshall considers each Double/Full bed or larger to sleep 2 persons. Each single bed to sleep one person, this means bunk beds that are Twin will sleep 2 people and are counted as such in the max occupancy, bunk beds that are Doubles will sleep up to 4 persons per bunk. You may count each of these as sleeping only one person, but the total we have listed has the max number of persons per bed. |
| When Is Balance of Rental Due? |
|
The balance of your rental is due at check-in, when you pick up your keys.
If you are going to be checking in after 5:00, we can arrange for a KEY DROP package for you to be left at our office.
Please understand Your balance will be charged to the credit card on file unless you call before 4:00 with different card information. Setting up a Key Drop authorizes us to charge your balance due.
The keys and a map to your property would be in a brown envelope waiting for you when you get to town.
We do not refund for days not used due to not coming in on time, leaving early or eviction from a property. |
| What is the $510 Security Deposit on the bottom of my confirmation? |
|
At the bottom of all confirmations there is a statement about Security and Damage Deposit.
We hold the credit card numbers you give us for your rental to secure the amount of $510.
**During Spring Break we charge your card. If there are no damages, the card will be credited with-in 3 days of your departure. If there are damages above the $510 held, we will charge the credit card for the extra amount.**
If you have damage occur while in our property, please call the office to arrange for the management to inspect what has happened and set up payment for repairs. If you do not call while you are still at the property when damages occur, we will take this as authorization to charge your credit card for repairs to the property. |
| My pet is housebroken and well mannered, can I bring him (her) to any of your properties? |
**Pet Fee is $35.00 per pet, non-refundable, one time fee due at check-in for pet friendly properties only.**
If a property is marked No Pets, please do not ask to bring your pet. The property is listed that way for a reason, not to exclude just you. |

What happens if I need to cancel?
Can I cancel right after making a reservation? |
Cancellation policy on larger properties (sleeps 8+ properties) is 60 days.
Smaller properties (sleeps 7 or less) is 30 days.
You will lose your deposit of the first night rent if you cancel with-in the 60 days prior to your arrival date.
If you make a reservation, and your arrival date is less than 60 days from when you pay your deposit, that deposit will be forfeit if you cancel.
If you cancel 61 or more days prior, you will be credited your deposit less $30 fee. |
| We have less (more) people than we thought, can we move our reservation to another property.? |
|
Reservations cannot be transfered.
You cannot move from one property to another if you are within your cancellation days. (60 days prior) if you are before the cancellation date, you may move to an available property for a $30 fee, plus the total deposit for that property.
Also, please remember when booking that all persons in your group count in the maximum occupancy. If you have too many in a property you will be asked to vacate and will not be refunded any money. |
| I left ("something") at the house we rented, can you send it back? |
Any Items Left at Unit, to be Returned will cost guest a $25 Charge, Plus Packing & Shipping Cost
There is a Packing & Shipping Charge because our office is not set up to ship items, we have to pay someone to "make ready to ship" any item you request being returned.
We are not responsible for items left in properties.
Please make sure you take all your chargers, clothing, toilet items and personal items with you when you check out. |
| What do your properties have in them? What do we need to bring with us? |
What to Bring? What Not to Bring
|
Start up paper products are supplied, you will need to purchase or bring garbage bags, paper towels, coffee filters and bath tissue, as well as dishwashing soaps, laundry and bath soaps.
All our properties are fully furnished, have all bed and bath linens, kitchens are equipped with pots, pans and dishes, and large & small appliances
Full size stove, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave.
Most units do NOT have iron/ironing board or hair dryers, Stereos or radios, blenders or mixers.

| Do you offer maid service while we are in the property? How do we get clean towels? |
|
No Maid Service During Stay.
Most units have washer/dryers, bring laundry detergent to wash towels if needed. |
| Can we bring our travel trailer? |
|
No travel trailers are allowed at any of the rental houses. You can rent a space in one of the many RV parks around town.
Trailers for boats or personal items are allowed to be parked in the driveway or garage of some properties, many though do not have space at the houses. Please check before planning to bring a trailer. |
| What do you do in case of a hurricane? |
If we are forecast to have a hurricane make landfall, we would be evacuated from the island. If this happens prior, with in 4 days of your planned stay, we will refund your deposit money, because you would not be allowed onto the island. If there is a hurricane somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico, but not forecast to make landfall in our area, there will not be any refund.
If you are on the island when a forecasted landfall occurs, if you are evacuated during your stay, you will be refunded only the portion of your stay you that will miss. If you are not evacuated and are able to finish your stay, there will be no refunds.
We do not refund for rain. |
