Short walk to the beach through Island Retreats Resort Private boardwalk from this second-floor condo. Great unit for a family, complete with new flat screen TVs and appliances. TVs located in Living Room and Bedrooms. Kitchen is equipped to prepare meals for family and friends. Great views from outside private sitting area overlooking common area and shared pool. You can just relax on the balcony after a day at the beach or walk down to the large pool. Unit is equipped with Wi-Fi   Laundry facilities on the premises that are open during the day and close at night.

It was very clean. Beach access was about a 5minute walk. Great location. Amenities provided are great (pool, basketball court, tennis court). Rooms were spacious. Restrooms were clean. We would definitely stay here again.

It was my first time renting from Paradise. Every time we would go to the port we would always get hotels. But now that I've found this place. I will never go anywhere else. It was an Awesome experience.

My 3 friends and I found the service prompt and conscientious, the unit was clean and comfortable with a view of the pool and the Gulf. It was well appointed with one exception: needs nicer glassware with more variety of sizes.

We loved staying in this upgraded condo this past week. We have stayed at Island Retreat over the past 10 years and this was the nicest condo to date. The rooms were clean and bathrooms nice and upgraded. A few suggestions for your future vacationers to be even more comfortable- supply hangers in the closets, provide extra blankets in the bedrooms, supply washcloths, and I would recommend NOT providing the scented trash bags, as they were not needed to mask any bad smells but rather put off a horrible “scent” the entire time we stayed. Other than these things, we really enjoyed our time!

There were 3 of us who stayed at the Island Retreat location(IR40) on May 5-8; each of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was an excellent location to the Gulf water/beach and beautiful pool setting. All aspects of the condo’ were just what we needed. Our time spent on the Island was totally enjoyable.

The rooms were really nice and clean, bright and beautiful. The kitchen was clean and functional with new appliances. The bed rooms are relaxing, my son even enjoyed taking a nap on the bay window seat. We had fun sitting and dining outside, at picnic area next to the pool. Beach was close by, easy to access for night fishing or early morning stroll.

For an older place it was pretty nice and close to the beach. Didn't realize the COVID cleaning fee would be so expensive - it was like $200.

This vacation rental was truly amazing! We’ve been coming to Port A for years and always make it a point to stay in different areas of town and this was the best spot yet! We loved the fact that it was tucked away from 11th street due to all the noise from golf carts and loud music. The inside of the condo was marvelous! Super clean, comfortable bedding and sitting areas, and the kids loved the most was the AC was “the bomb”. Tons of windows and great views of the pool and beach! Definitely have found our forever spot here in Port Aransas!!

The room was perfect for my family and I, plenty of space , the view from the balcony was amazing and just hearing those waves made it all worth it ! The only bad thing I can really say was some of the remotes didn’t have batteries that worked, and having a child that has autism not having internet connection was a bit of an issue but I loved the property and would rent again ! Staff during check in process was beyond helpful (Brenda) was polite, made my check in experience a good one for sure.

We enjoy golf of Mexico . At night walk on the beach. Only bad thing that we had to leave 2 days before because of the shtorm. Hope everything and everyone survive and we will come next year

The grass was beautiful rooms were great plenty of towels the mosquitoes were bad but that's a nature thing everything was wonderful from the location to the people

Condo was in good shape and clean, other than finding some sand in one of the beds. Life in Paradise staff was very nice and helpful. There was rude staff at the condo site. For the most part, we loved Island Retreat, but now we are contemplating whether we should ever stay there again due to the rude staff.
