Newly remodeled! IR5 is a cozy first-floor studio that sleeps 4 and is an affordable option within walking distance of the beach. The nautical-themed sleeping area has a King bed and a Queen sleeper sofa. The bright dining area has seating for four to enjoy meals together, playing cards or your favorite board games while gazing out the windows. The kitchen has all the essentials you need to enjoy your stay with a stove/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and coffeemaker, plus utensils, pots, pans, and dishes (**No dishwasher**). The full bathroom separates the sink from the stool and shower, so two people can get ready at once. Simply cross the boardwalk over the beautiful rolling dunes to enjoy the Gulf beach. Amenities include TV, Wi-Fi, access to picnic areas, laundry facilities, 2 boardwalks to the beach, and 2 shared pools. Located near downtown Port Aransas, you have easy access to the golf course, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.

My wife and I took off on a spur of the moment getaway and discovered this FANTASTIC little spot that includes a golf cart, a must have for our family at Port A. It's just right for a couple or a small group and has everything that you need; especially when you're spending most of the day on the beach or putting around. There are a lot of amenities that we didn't check out, however the gazebo and charcoal grill just a few steps away was just right for grilling our steak.

My family and I enjoyed our mini-vacation at the Island Retreat Resort. We stayed in IR5 and loved it. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with everything (pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, etc,) we needed to cook meals and clean to clean up after. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was spacious. There were plenty of towels, soap, and lotion for us to use. The bed was a comfortable king size bed that allowed me, my daughter, and grandson to sleep comfortably. The TV has all the streaming apps available, just don't forget to log out of your account before you leave. I loved that the TV could be pulled out to face the bed for night time movie watching. There are two pools on the property. We swam in one of them. It was clean and the water was warm. A golf cart was included with our rental and we loved driving around the island and to the beach on it. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will book with Island Retreat Resorts again and again.

Island Retreat Resort is a wonderful place. We were in Unit # 5 and it was the Best! We plan on coming back. I have always loved Port Aransas, and it is still my favorite beach town. The condo had everything we needed and then some. If you're looking for an affordable place to stay, this is it! And a bonus, is the golf cart!! You gotta have one to really get around town.

Condo was recently renovated. As soon as we walked in, you could smell the new! Room was perfect size for 3 of us. Had everything we needed. Was very clean. Complex was quiet. I didn't catch her name, but the woman from the office was so friendly everytime we saw her. Will definitely be back again ml.

This is the second time we have stayed at Island Retreat. We love the location, and for the price point it can't be beat. This time be brought several friends that also stayed on property & they felt the same. Our unit came with a golf cart & it was perfect! The cart was delivered to the property prior to our arrival & we left it there when we left. I have told many people considering coming to Port A to check your property. Thanks again for another great experience.

We had a great time in Port Aransas and the condo was perfect for me and my fiance. It was just a short walk across the boardwalk to the beach. Having a kitchen and being close was so much better than a hotel room at the same price. The included Golf Cart was a huge bonus as well.

We had a wonderful visit at a port Aransas. The location of the condo is very central. The golf cart was wonderful to have. We did many late night beach drives and early morning coffee dates. The bed was very comfortable.This would be a 5 star except for the bathroom cleanliness. I felt like the bathroom could have been cleaner. I understand that there is sand everywhere. When we checked in I noticed a small pack of sand on the corner by the tub and some spiderwebs in the corner behind the door. This would not deter me from renting this condo again.

Easy check in and out, clean, and close to beach. Quiet nights with security so no worries about leaving vehicle in the parking lot while you are at the beach or out. Small shower but no big deal if you don't mind it.
